# Welcome to Minax

> Describe your idea. Minax builds your Minecraft plugin, tries it on a real server and gives you the .jar file.

Minax builds plugins for Minecraft Java servers (Paper and Spigot). You write what you want in a chat. Minax writes the code, compiles it, tries it on a real server and hands you a **.jar** file to drop on your server.

## Where do I start?

## Words to know

* **Project**: one plugin, with its chat, its files and its versions.
* **Chat**: where you describe your idea and ask for changes.
* **Credit**: what pays for Minax's work.
* **Test server**: a real Minecraft server started for you for a few minutes, with your plugin already installed.
* **.jar**: your plugin's file, to put in your server's `plugins` folder.

## What Minax does not do yet

* Mods (Fabric, Forge) and anything installed in the players' own game.
* Minecraft Bedrock.
* Proxy plugins (Velocity, BungeeCord).
* Hosting a permanent server: the test server is for trying things, a few minutes at a time.
* Taking the code of an existing plugin (.jar, .zip, GitHub) to change it.
