# Payment and subscription

> Pay for a pack, come back from payment, find your invoices, manage a subscription you already have.

## How do I pay?

When you start a build with no credits, the pack choice opens in the chat, next to your request. You can also go through **Settings**, **Plans & Billing**, or the [Pricing](https://minax.fun/en/pricing) page. Payment happens on Stripe's secure page, once: nothing renews.

Outside the European Union, Stripe may offer to charge you in your currency. The converted amount includes conversion fees of 2 to 4%, shown before you pay.

## What happens after payment?

* **Payment received**: you get the confirmation by email, then your request's build starts by itself.
* Payment sometimes takes a few seconds to register: the page tells you.
* **You came back without paying**: nothing was taken, your request is waiting.

## Payment method and invoices

In **Settings**, **Plans & Billing**, the **Billing** card shows your payment method and your invoices. **Manage** opens the payment portal.

## Under 18

You can buy with the agreement of a parent or guardian: the box you tick before paying says so. You can also send them the details of an offer from your account, so they read it and pay themselves. If a purchase was made without their agreement, your parent can write to [dev@minax.fun](mailto:dev@minax.fun) within 12 months: the purchase is refunded in full and the remaining credits are removed.

## If you already have a subscription

The Pro subscription is no longer offered for new purchases. A subscription taken out before carries on under the terms of your order: each month, the credits and test server minutes of your tier.

### Change tier

In **Settings**, **Plans & Billing**, click **Change plan**.

* To a higher tier: the change is immediate, and you pay the difference for the rest of the month. The amount is written on the button before you confirm.
* To a lower tier: the change happens at the next renewal, with no payment.

### Cancel my subscription

Click **Cancel your contract here**, at the bottom of every page of the site, even when signed out, or go through **Settings**, **Plans & Billing**. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid: until then, your credits stay usable. Your pack credits keep their own validity. You get a confirmation email right away.
